Certified School and Community Advisor (CSCATM)

The CSCA Designation is the professional Designation offered by SchoolFolks®.

Certified School and Community Advisors are qualified Realtors® in the United States that have passed a uniformed Certified School and Community Advisor Examination and have met additional experience requirements for certification as a CSCA. Because research and data about school differences and community information has become increasingly important to the home buying and selling process, CSCA'S are certified to provide Community and School information as reported by SchoolFolks®, explain how to read the reports and what the information means.

Because CSCA'S are more educated on the foundation levels of how Communities and Schools affect a family¹s relocation as well as the real estate business side, they are able to help home buyers choose livable communities in which they may realize increases in house appreciation. Each CSCA uses an advanced analytical system to help advise real estate buyers on where to place their property purchase dollar for maximum return.

Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB)
The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), awarded by the Real Estate Brokerage Managers Council, is a professional designation earned only by real estate professionals who are dedicated to pursuing a management education of the highest order. CRBs must complete the rigorous, comprehensive CRB Management Series and have proven management experience. In other words, not just anyone can display the CRB designation after their name. It is reserved for ONLY the most dedicated, conscientious and highly skilled real estate professionals.

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
The CRS Designation is the professional Designation offered by the Residential Sales Council. The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation is the highest professional Designation awarded to REALTORS in the residential sales field. Only 5% of all REALTORS hold the CRS Designation.

As a CRS Designee, I had to complete advanced study in residential listing and selling and meet established production levels.

Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)
The Institute is designed to educate professional REALTORS about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them, their clients and customers. The designation indicates tot he public that the individual has obtained a professional education foundation on which to base the services they provide.

I was awarded the GRI designation after completing many hours of classroom instruction covering subjects such as contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction.

Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is held by more than 9,000 REALTORS® who work as buyers' agents. A buyer's agent represents the buyer in a real estate transaction for a fee, just as a seller's agent is hired to obtain the price and sale terms sought by the seller. A buyer's agent is hired to get the best possible price and terms for the buyer. Buyer agency assistance also may include helping the buyer obtain legal assistance to review proposed contracts or structural inspectors to examine the property. As an ABR® designee, I have completed an intensive course that covers the legalities and issues surrounding representation as a buyer's agent, and I had to pass a written exam upon completion of the course. The ABR® is the only nationally recognized designation for buyer's agents.
